Stuck in his hometown, Venice, during the pandemic, director Andrea Segre turns the camera on the frozen city, while reminiscing about his father, a scientist and chemist, and the past.

[Göteborg FF] The director wanted to talk about the tourist overcrowding and rising tides in Venice, and he found an empty city by confinement and an unusually low tide. This lack of definition, transmitted through repetitive images of the city's channels, maybe is motivated by the modification of the film's propose. It's beautiful (and weird) a lonely Venice, but this loneliness also creates a void in the film.
