[Prime Video] It manages to balance the period with a more intimate look, being an ambitious film that nevertheless uses relatively simple elements. Although the mixture of Basque folkloric traditions with the world of witchcraft and mysticism doesn't always work, it builds a love story that goes beyond the human condition to approach the legend with special effectiveness, together with some outstanding technical aspects such as cinematography or the soundtrack. It is a film that grows as it delves into mythology.
