Native American folk horror as an American settlers period piece, including acting that is more wooden than the trees around them and well groomed actors in sparkling clean outfits. On the positive side there is also hippie-esque nudity, neat sets and practical effects, delightful cheesy video effects and plenty of pyrotechnics. The story is surprisingly good after the initial meh presentation.
