this movie is garbage, holy shit
This movie is garbage. The lead actor (Nick Eversman) is absolutely horrible.
That film when your boss says you need to make a movie just to maintain copyright but no one will work with you so you give your nephew a small budget but the only horror movies he's seen are Final Destination 3 and Hellraiser 8.
Weak story, bad acting and pinhead looks horrible and sounds even worse.
After going on a bit of a Rick Bota bender, I never thought I’d say this… but I really wish he was back for a fourth entry. Hellraiser: Revelations is easily my least favorite of this batch. It feels rushed, stripped down, and completely devoid of the atmosphere—even the flawed atmosphere—that the previous straight-to-video entries at least attempted. The new Pinhead just doesn’t work for me. It’s not my Pinhead. The presence, the menace, the gravitas—it’s just not there. The story is thin, the production feels cheap even by this era’s standards, and there’s very little that lingers once it’s over. After a long franchise binge, this is the one that truly felt like a slog. Rating: 0.5/5 – 45% – Skip
