A romantic romp thru the time when women became…equal.
A romantic drama set during the politically charged early 60s where a sophisticated woman returns to her Southern home town and discovers her options are limited yet discrimination is plentiful. With the help of a Congressional ally, she inspires historic legislation which allows opportunities and protections never before afforded to women.

Its hard to say bad things about movies that are depicting real-life events. This is especially true when said events reflect important achievements in providing equal rights to people who did not have them. The first half of the movie does a pretty good job at setting the stage by introducing us to a variety of people from different backgrounds. The end of the movie takes what could have been a very serious and in-depth examination of the issues and cleans it up in such a way that would make an after-school special blush. The whole thing was just... odd. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
The movie has its heart in the right place and it's certainly not awful. However, it doesn't get under the skin of the issues it tries to cover so it's a decent but unremarkable watch.
