Very strong film with good actors and good music by Praga Khan. I think the ending of the book is different and I imagine not everyone is a fan of this ending. I especially find the interview fragments a more pleasant way to tell the story.

A magnificent film about an autistic teenager.

As someone with autism I don't like how they portrayed Ben. That said, it was 2007 so maybe this was due lack of understanding. They portray Ben as a late teen with mannerisms of a child to preteen. This is not mild autism... The dude can't even speak to his mother, not like bad... But he literally can't speak at all. A for effort. C for result.
