Synopsis
A chronicle of the making of Disneynature’s Dolphin Reef, the story of a young Pacific bottlenose dolphin named Echo. From wave surfing with dolphins in South Africa to dancing with humpback whales in Hawaii, filmmakers go to great lengths - and depths - to shed new light on the ocean’s mysteries.

I always find it fascinating to watch how these type of movies are shot. What surprised me the most is that it appears that the story of Echo is actually different dolphins shot around the world. At least some of the behaviors they claimed in the movie to have been his mom teaching him how to hunt or him following the turtle in the”back alley” of the coral reef are shot in different places, continents if you will.
