The Inspector Wears Skirts is an entertaining little action comedy. Funny and cute, with some action in between. Has sort of a Police Academy feel, in the way that the training IS the story…for the most part. The action is decently done, but when you have the ever so lovely Cynthia Rothrock gracing the screen, I expect no less. The training is the story here, but there are lessons learned, and the comedy never take fully over. You get the usual HK tonal shift at the end where things get serious, but it never really take away any of the fun. I rather liked this, but I really can't be trusted when it comes to movies that feature Cynthia Rothrock. ;)
