One of those films that sounds like a quirky comedy but hits like a social drama in disguise. It tackles a serious issue with humour and simplicity, and for the most part, that balance works. Ranveer Singh disappears into the role, playing Jayesh with softness, fear, and quiet courage instead of his usual loud energy. The small-town setting feels authentic, and the message lands because it’s rooted in character, not speeches. It slows down in places and gets a bit repetitive, but the heart is in the right place. A good movie that went under the radar.
