Wow, for that era... it would have taken so much strength for people like Ritchie to have lived so authentically. I actually think he wasn't so much struggling with his homosexuality, as it were that everyone else around him was struggling with his homosexuality. Everyone around him was trying to convince him and themselves that he wasn't who he keeps saying he is
