In the fall of 1997, every nuclear device in the world will be accounted for...except one.
When a train carrying atomic warheads mysteriously crashes in the former Soviet Union, a nuclear specialist discovers the accident is really part of a plot to cover up the theft of the weapons. Assigned to help her recover the missing bombs is a crack Special Forces Colonel.

I liked it back then and I still do today.
This is an under-rated movie since if you think about it this is 24 before there was a 24. Before this became a normal day for Jack Bauer.
Not bad in particular, just not very memorable. Some decent action scenes, but a basic action thriller flick at best. Protective Clooney and trying-to-be-badass-in-the-90s Kidman made it a decent watch tho.
More than an OK action thriller, it's based on a book from the late 90s, One Point Safe, that lists real world incidents of stolen nuclear material to sell in the former Eastern Block countries and Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
A bombshell on the loose. Nicole Kidman, superb.
