I found it quite boring, predictable and ordinary. It is true that it may depict a very realistic portrait of a certain English society, but it also seems not to add any added value or criticism to it.
Clio Barnard's drama is a quietly effective look at two lonely people who manage to retain a relationship, despite the differences between them. The two protagonists maintain interest, even when the film meanders a little.
