This trilogy continues to be an amazing experience in the way the history of this battle continued where the first left of a couple of years ahead. It's amazing how these three installments, while being years apart of production, feel like it was film back to back. Not losing the value of its production. Outstanding tales in visual format.

A bad closing of the Yi Sun-shin trilogy. How could it not be, **Noryang** is very far from the historical facts. Not only that, even the Mandarin language is bad. This was even criticized by native speakers. Well, what can we do, all of them are Korean actors so it's natural that their Mandarin is bad, but I don't think this is an excuse that can be used because of course they could have used actors from China or at least could speak Mandarin well and correctly. **Kim Han-min** really doesn't know how to close the holes that have always been a problem in the previous two films. The plot is the main problem that **Kim Han-min** must overcome and we can see that he failed in all three of his films. The slow plot and unclear message, whether Yi Sun-shin wants revenge or this is about war. If the film really depicts the war, I think the flashback about his dead son is not needed in the development of the story. Just like the two previous films **The Admiral** and **Hansan**, **Noryang: Deadly Sea** also features intense and thrilling battles. However, with the same formula, this film becomes boring even when the battle begins. The unique strategies implemented by Yi Sun-shin are just "so-so" moments, bland without any more feeling of satisfaction seeing the strategies implemented by Yi Sun-shin's troops.
