Jarhead: Law of Return is a mediocre straight-to-video action film starring Amaury Nolasco and Devon Sawa. When a US senator’s son is shot down in Syria, a join US/Israeli team is sent in to rescue him. The plot is pretty by-the-numbers, with all the usual military clichés. Still, there are some exciting fight scenes and chases, and both Nolasco and Sawa give solid performance and bring something to their roles. Yet while it’s entertaining and delivers some thrills, Jarhead: Law of Return is a rote war film that’s rather forgettable.
They put sergeant stripes on a Marine four-star general uniform. Ridiculous.
A pure propaganda movie. A list of deepless characters in a boring (action) movie.
