Elliot Page brings attention to the injustices and injuries caused by environmental racism in his home province, in this urgent documentary on Indigenous and African Nova Scotian women fighting to protect their communities, their land, and their futures.

Ellen Page and Ian Daniel address the water issue in Nova Scotia. Although the concept of environmental racism may be debatable (it seems more like a social rupture), the tragedy of marginal areas that are even more marginalized by polluting industries is worrying. The documentary is not particularly relevant, but at least it gives a voice to activist groups that promote respect for ancestral roots linked to nature.
