what beautiful animation! no wonder it's a product of the highest animation quality standard in china, i like the most is that scene by the beach where ne zha and ao bing plays shuttercock together

I disliked the character design from the trailer, but the huge success of the second film piqued my interest enough to give the first movie a go. Cheesy script, slapstick humour abound, ended up being more enjoyable than expected.

I love the concept and the animation is pretty good, put at the same time everything is so overly dramatic and unfocused, the main character is unlikeable (not because he's a demon, but because he's a brat) and the humour feels terribly aged. I would rate it huh/10 if I could, I feel like that'd be most accurately describing how I feel about this movie.

I thought this was awesome, just had to get past the urge to put the brat in the corner
