Half Human… Half Machine! Programmed to Kill!
In the future world of the year 2087, freedom of thought is illegal and the thoughts of the world's populations are controlled by the government. A small band of "free thinkers" send a cyborg back in time to the year 1966 to prevent a scientist from making the breakthrough that will eventually lead to the mass thought control of the future. Our time traveler soon discovers he is not alone when government agents from the future try to prevent him from carrying out his mission.

This is the predecessor to The Terminator: Cyborgs, time travel, and everything that made it, including paradoxes. You can see how the 1984 film mirrors this film made almost 20 years earlier, with a few twists and turns added in. An enjoyable ride for those who like a good story and don't need eyecandy or CGI.
Not horrible. Felt like a long episode of Star Trek. Especially because Karen Steele was one of Harry Mudd’s women on the original series. Those 60’s fight scenes are brutally silly :)
