This movie was subpar, poor, below average. It was probably better for those who know Japanese and could listen to the original audio. I watched it with subtitles and English dubbing, neither of which were very good. The Great War of Archimedes is long and boring. They should have cut an hour out of the middle. It's just a guy doing measurements and drawings for a battleship. This movie could have been good with a much shorter run time. Like, a whole hour shorter. Seriously. If you decide to watch this movie, just watch the first 30 minutes, then skip the next hour, then watch the final 40 minutes. I promise you won't miss anything exciting or important. All the war action is at the beginning of the movie. The interesting part of the story is at the end. Trying to watch this whole boring movie for 130 minutes straight was a long tedious chore.
