The task is simple: walk or die.
In a dystopian 1970s America, fifty teenage boys take part in a deadly annual walking contest, forced to maintain a minimum pace or be executed, until only one survivor remains.

Man, that was heavy. I had to sit in silence for a bit just to recover.
Meh! The acting was amazing David Jonsson has a bright future. The story line however was crap. Is it a MUST-WATCH? Hmmn, its a MEH.
absolute garbage movie. terrible writing, terrible acting, terrible plot. no redeeming qualities.
Meh. Solid performances, however this story really feels like it would work better in book form (I've never read King's book) as there's just not enough time, nor nuance to the writing to get to know the characters in any meaningful way, so most of their actions, the reveals, and the deaths generally fall flat. I felt very little throughout which is troubling for a film like this. Who are these characters? Why are they there? Why does the Long Walk exist? The answers are simply too few and too far between for a film that spends most of its time expecting you to care.
