Documentary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman takes us inside Northeast High School as a fly on the wall to observe the teachers and how they interact with the students.

Starts out feeling like a "remember how much high school sucked" sort of movie, and ends up being nothing less than an indictment of authoritarianism and an accounting of how generational trauma is destroying the country. Its depiction of authority exercised by the adults in this movie is chilling, and the last scene just really took the wind out of me.
