Slow as molasses and grim as hell, Castle is a stark look at addiction, loss and the innocent people these corrupt. Alex and Imogen put in a great performances, but the lack of agency and overall dark subject matter makes this a tough pill to swallow, even for people like me who usually enjoys depressing slow burns.
