Little to do with Norway and a lot to do with wood, if you know what I mean. Anyway I fell asleep.
I liked it, but the book is much better
I can understand why so many people dislike this film, but the exceptional cinematography and soundtrack made me somewhat biased toward it. Besides that, there’s something—perhaps the sense of aimlessness, the constant uncertainty - that weighed heavily on my heart. Many say the novel is far better, though maybe I’m one of the few who genuinely felt that this film touched my soul. It made me realize just how beautiful sorrow can be.
I liked this movie. I didn't think Murakami's stuff would translate well to screen but both this and "drive my car" have made me a believer. In my opinion, great adaptions as they portray the vibe of the book. Not possible to put everyone's fvrt scene in one movie.
