Director Thomas Heise picks up the biographical pieces left by his family, and composes an epic picture of four generations of his family, of a country, of a century.
Avis de la communauté (1)
The History of Germany told from the fragments of the director's private and family stories. Chronology of written letters that reveal mixed feelings. Images that are drawn to complete the texts. Trains that come and go, like those epistolary memories. It requires the active participation of the viewer, the effort to decipher what we see, perceiving what we hear. Germany transformed. "The scars look for a wound".
