Interesting. I don't agree with all the other comments here. I found the sixth installment of that movie franchise not that good. I'm kind of a big fan of the first five movies—I've watched all of them several times, which is unusual for me. But movie #6 is, for me, not as good. The first 35 minutes are just so full of unrealistic things and bad CGI that I was very distracted by all of it. I know people always want to top the previous movies, but that's not a good thing if stuff becomes too unreal. The first five movies did that much better. The whole scene about the "event" at the beginning of this movie is just so over the top and full of bad CGI that I couldn't enjoy it. But after that the movie gets a little bit better (still more bad CGI). One thing that is unclear to me: If death had to take so many people before Iris, why was Iris so cautious in her "safe house"? She should have known that she would be totally safe for many, many years - even decades, because death had to take all the other people first?!
Terrible movie. I didn't like at all. Anything works like the whole franchise. I felt like I was watching the 4th movie again. So trash, the acting is bad, the story doesn't work, the characters are empty and I hated how the movie try to explain the Tony Todd's character history. Everything's predictable and I hated.
“You know you make me wanna shout…” Do yourself a favor and watch this movie.
