Imagine throwing a pile of threads on the floor and calling it a quilt, then you'll have an idea of what _À Cause des Filles_ is like. One of the main shortcomings of anthology films is that they are often uneven, with one or two stories being better than the others. The good news is that isn't the case with _À Cause des Filles_, but only because all the skits are equally bad. This jumble of unrelated and unrelatable unfinished sketches which have nothing to do with the title is simply threads with loose ends that contain as much warmth as an unmade quilt.
