As far as TV movies go, there were an absolute ton of them made during the 70s and 80s, and so few of them stand out as being well done. Bad Ronald is one of those, along with Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and small handful of others.

Good story of when you don't fit into a societal mould and the only safety and respect is found is your own creative mind as you become the outcast for being individual.
