He probably did it more for himself then anyone else but it's a shame next to no one was there to witness. Maybe that's another reason no one wanted to sponsor or broadcast it ? They knew people today aren't interested. The time of the daredevils is past. When Knievel tried it in '74 it was a massive event. Today there is more interest in Kardashians behind then a guy risking his life to proof something. Which in itself says something about us, I guess. Well, I think it was an interesting look behind the scenes but it could have been done in half the lenght.
