Synopsis
Young-goon, mentally deranged and frequently electro-charging herself with a transistor radio, has been admitted into a mental institution. Firmly believing herself to be a cyborg, she refuses to consume like a human being. Il-soon is another patient, who catches the eye of Young-goon and soon becomes a close friend. Il-soon is now confronted with the biggest task: to cure Young-goon's mental problem and have her eat real food.

Especially in the first half hour or so there's so much going on at once that it warrants watching a few scenes multiple times. Some great filmmaking on display, even if the parts of the story could ultimately be fleshed out more or infused with more clarity.

Rom-com from Oldboy's director Park Chan-wook about eccentric, mental patients in an institution. It's a successful turn of direction after Park's "Revenge trilogy".
