It's time for these animals to stand and fight.
A group of farm animals rise up against their neglectful owner, dreaming of equality and freedom. But as the pigs take control, the revolution turns into tyranny, with truth rewritten and dissent crushed.

A genuine, uninfluenced review since I haven't seen any of the previous versions or the movie, yet. The animation shines, and the voice work is fantastic, with Seth stealing the show as Napoleon. It brilliantly bridges the gap for both adults and kids. The political allegory is clear, but it delivers a refreshing piece of entertainment, sharp humor, and real emotional punch without feeling forced.
A test of endurance.. The worst movie I've watched in a very long time.
In an attempt to make this more appealing to a younger audience by adding a more comedic tone they’ve destroyed the effectiveness of the narrative. Maybe the most unforgivable sin is that the jokes they added aren’t remotely funny, so it was all for nothing. Would Not Recommend
Andy Serkis should be beaten, repeatedly, for this awful “adaptation”. Aside from using a few plot points and names for the animals this isn’t Orwell’s Animal Farm. It starts 1/2 way through the novella so there’s plenty of time for musical moments and fart jokes just like the actual Russian Revolution.
Napoleon really lived up to his name.. what a sob
