_The Truk_ is like winter in Buffalo: cold, distant and bleak. This small (and, at 88 minutes, short) film about losers making bad choices is a standout thanks to its competent director (Sarah Marx) and its strong lead (Sandor Funtek). I won't be giving it a ranking because you either love it or you don't, but I would recommend it for the indie fans who don't shy away from a good ol' depression.
