Found this movie great and very touching! Personally I like this the most out of all the Kendrick movies!

Stand up and cheer! Hallelujah. Do yourself a favor and watch this show movie.

I wish the US and Netflix would stop with this absolute saccharine fuelled, religiously biased, racially imbalanced crap. The premise of the film had promise with some good glimmers of humour but it was totally ruined by its overly religious theme. Filled with cliches of the reasonably wealthy white family doing what they consider is best for the poor black family and obviously the white family were the saviours as they are no doubt more closer to God than any other ethnicity. I can say this as a white guy! The only message this film sends is about self indulgence from the director.

I thought it was slow at times but very inspirational... I loved the message and how they brought the word of God in.
