trippy movie for sure. the music creates a unique atmosphere. cast is great, visual effects are stunning. after the movie ive got confused still am. I guess that was the directors purpose.
For fools: It is a weak drug movie. For smarts: A brilliant movie expressing consequences of BIGGEST TURNING POINTS in your life and showing it thru parallel universes. Congrats...
This film desperately wants to be the next Donnie Darko. At times it gets the same off-kilter feeling and menacingly dark undertones, but the "story" gets a bit too muddled in the final third, leaving some wild assertions unexplored. I was ultimately satisfied with this as a whole (and enjoyed the trip it took me on), despite it tip-toeing very close to the edge of becoming an incomprehensible mess.
I do not like it.
"Stay" is very similar to this one in a way that viewers can get multiple interpretations of what they just saw. A philosofical movie.
