If you forgot that the bad parts of town harbor drugs, robberies, and prostitution then this is the film for you. And don't forget the sadness by the hand-cam lensful. This based-on-a-true-story of a young pimp and his prostitute girlfriend has strong characters portrayed by solid amateur actors, though the story doesn't really pick up until the third act. But hey, any film that can make me feel this sullied deserves a recommend.
