Where the first movie told a small story of how this triads lived their lives while doing this "good Samaritan way" in their believes, this sequel takes a broader turn showcasing the north side of the triads exposing the dark side of what a Ga Tao was not supposed to be, when a brotherhood turn into a rival desire to take over and mayhem begins. The movie felt a departure from the first, but understandably so, given the scope of what this world is and how many players are in the table in this underground world a few cameos from the first to tied the scope well. It was a concise and to the point with deep rooted consequences that ripple trough all of the characters in this story regarding the issues that this world brings. The story continues and so with what might seem a larger saga than expected. Can't wait to see what is next.
