Not the best silent bit still very goor. A straight telling of the Jesus story, it is slow for the first two hours but the last half an hour is spectacular and tugs the heart strings. Good visuals but not on a par with the likes or Murnau, Sjostrom, Dreyer etc. If you like silents, check it out. But it wouldn’t be in the top ten. 6.5/10
