_Belleville Cop_ is as simple as a connect-the-dots with just two numbers. The only mirth this film delivers are fake laughs and forced chuckles to match the style of the jokes. The charm and talent of the gorgeous Omar Sy is the movie's solitary saving grace. If his taste in lovers is as bad as his taste in films, I may actually have a shot.
