Like my kid competing in gymnastics, I kept waiting for this to fuck up, but it never did. This over-the-top gore orgy had the perfect balance of 70s tribute and new ideas, action and horror, blood and satire so that the film 100% succeeded in being exactly what it wanted to be. Not many of us can say the same, not even my kids.

Absolutely bonkers of a movie. Low budget but who cares? Fun movie. Extremely gory for the gore fanatics. Some pretty good laughs.

Decent exploitation flick with some surprises, both good and bad. On its face, it’s a simple story about a hobo who wants to clean up his city that’s controlled by a villain. Upon watching, I realized it’s much more than that. Hobo’s self awareness really added depth and his pure character reveals itself throughout the story. This is especially true with his friendship with Abby. Their friendship being a catalyst for the city to turn itself around is pretty cool. I loved the action and comedy too. Showing us new ways to kill while still giving us the classic shotgun. I really enjoyed seeing a bunch of cast members from Trailer Park Boys in the film. My favorite line- “He made me cum!” It was the most unexpected thing but pretty on par for the character.
