Synopsis
It's Christmas Eve and the playroom is alive with excitement for the new toys that will arrive the next day. Balthazar, the old and wise bear, explains to the other toys that they must welcome the newcomers even though each of them may be replaced as one of the children's new favorite toys.

Rugby the Tiger is no Woody. 9 years before Toy Story, yet covers a lot of similar themes and plot points complete with a new space toy, toys jockeying for position in the hierarchy of toys, toys moving when others aren't around...but it is a wonderful, colorful Henson production that moves along happily enough. If only Rugby wasn't such a douchetard, this may have been a classic. Now, it is more of a curiosity with great effects and craftsmanship but missing the heart that Toy Story did so well at.
