The Rising Hawk is an awesome medieval movie. Excellent plot, setting, characters, and acting. Not everything was perfect, but there was a lot to like, and little to complain about. The battles were good, and the story was believable. This movie is not for kids, due to the violence. However, there wasn't any bad language, so that was refreshing. Just lots of fighting and violence. If you're expecting Braveheart or Gladiator, then you'll be disappointed. But if you expect a medieval war drama B-movie, then you might be pleasantly surprised. For me, I was entertained by this movie, and I would definitely watch it again.
