Synopsis
When young dockworker Jude leaves Liverpool to find his estranged father in the United States, he is swept up by the waves of change that are re-shaping the nation. Jude falls in love with Lucy, who joins the growing anti-war movement. As the body count in Vietnam rises, political tensions at home spiral out of control and the star-crossed lovers find themselves in a psychedelic world gone mad.

This is one of my fsvourites of all time!! I saw this, Almost Famous and The Wall in the same year in high school and it really change my life in terms of music taste, wich is important in my life.

Absolutely magical. It is not an easy task to weave a story around an existing list of songs which weren't written to tell a single story. This is a masterpiece.

Another movie that I had somehow just never gotten around to watching until 15 years after it released. This was a trippy ride with a GREAT soundtrack (obviously). I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would with it being a musical. Would definitely recommend anyone to check this out if it even sounds remotely interesting to you! Rating: 4.5/5 - 9/10 - Highly Recommend
