Independent Filmmaker Caveh Zahedi is trying to make a television show. He persuades BRIC TV, a Brooklyn non-profit Arts organization, to finance a television show whose premise is that every episode will be about the making of the previous episode. In the process of creating the show, everything can-and does-go wrong. The cast, a who's who of Brooklyn's independent filmmaking community, includes Alex Karpovsky, Eleonore Hendricks, Dustin Defa, and Onur Tukel.

I was not familiar with Caveh going into this and now I guess I am too familiar with him. What starts out as a quirky meta look at making a TV show devolves into narcissistic, self destruction all in the name of self absorption and brutal honesty. It’s amazing, it’s more Larry David or Charlie Kaufman than either of them could hope to be, even if by the back half it is more annoying rather than entertaining as the main premise is abandoned in the pursuit family drama and sex. By that point you can’t look away.
