Fields of France, during the First World War. A group of young soldiers, united by the indiscriminate brutality of battle, fights to maintain their humanity in an endless cycle of combat and death.

War is not alone on the battlefield. It starts much earlier. There is a struggle that is internal, rather than external. The wounds, in the end, are psychological, not just physical. Risks are taken, like an almost silent number (fear). It is beautifully shot, with great music by Keaton Henson and excellent choreography by the Spanish Iván Pérez.
