What this film lacks in momentum, it...also lacks in plot. I hesitated to like this movie but Kim Min-hee's (_The Handmaiden_, _The Day After_) performance outweighs the pretentious acclaim it's received for daring to be an art film based on the director's real life romance with Kim Min-hee.
