GALLOPING THRILLS! A mighty adventure when America's destiny rode in the saddle bags of the...PONY EXPRESS
Buffalo Bill and Wild Bill Hickok join forces to establish a mail route that can get mail from St. Joseph, Missouri, to Sacramento, California, in ten days. Along the way they must battle bad weather, hostile Indians and outlaws intent on robbing the mail and shutting down the entire operation.

Certainly not Hestons best role. The story isn't very engaging and I think
the death at the end was rather unnessessary.
And in typical 50s Hollywood fashion Indians must all be bad and it is full of historical inaccuracies (f.e. the Pony Express started in 1860, Cody was born 1846. Do the math). It is one of those western where they took events and characters from real history and threw them together. I don't expect one hundred percent accuracy but in the end the plot makes the movie and this was mediocre.
