Ellen Page stars in the Animal Planet original film _Ghost Cat_. A young teenager named Natalie starts to believe that the spirit of a dead cat is trying to tell her something from the beyond when she experiences a number of odd occurrences at her new house; meanwhile a land developer attempts to shut down an animal shelter that she volunteers at. The film really feels like it's pandering to animal lovers with the B story about the shelter, and the writing is really simplistic. Additionally, the performances are rather wooden and colorless. A contrived and formulaic kid’s film, _Ghost Cat_ is extraordinarily tame and unfulfilling.

I mean, is a TV movie for families so you know what to expect. Not terribly written and directed, it's completely fair in it's intent: the story is a little silly, but decent. I don't want to be to judgemental so I feel 6 is a pretty honest rating. Indeed a must see for all Ellen Page true fans.
