As an Electrical Engineer that understood SOME of the math, I found this to be a fantastic movie. If you like to think while watching a movie this one works and the story line is believable.

Will do for mathematics what Rainman did for autism. Imagine _Arrival_ as one giant math story problem you didn't prepare enough for and you have _UFO_. Oh, plus Gillian Anderson appears in the role of 'I can't believe I'm getting paid for this'.
