>*–"Family. That dear octopus from whose tentacles we never quite escape, nor, in our innermost hearts, ever quite wish to." –"What the hell are you talking about Philip?"* Low budget goodness! If you like *Secret Santa* I think this one's a no-brainer, same absurd dumb comedy and crazy family dynamics. *Secret Santa* is funnier, not everything landed here but I still laughed a lot and had a ton of fun. It was so incredibly predictable what was going on at the start, I can't say this movie ever surprised me with the twists. So funny that he gave her a power outlet for Christmas and she was wayyyy out of his league. The movie really is at it's best when the family was interacting and I wish there was more of it. Nice bloody kills. So quotable. The third act was so much fun, absolutely hilarious fight!
