Amateurish. Entirely derivative of Fosse with heavy influence of MTV, yet lacking in energy. Despite poor dialogue, lame narrative, and weak dramatic performances all around, it was still somehow enjoyable.

It was a fun watch, and great singing and performance. But I somehow expected more.

This movie really just made me fall head over heels in love with Christina Aguilera! I mean, those vocals, damn😍😍 That said, I can’t believe she could’ve rode into the sunset with the millionaire but instead chose to shack up with the bartender who was literally engaged to someone else the whole time😭
