wants to cover a lot and stays halfway to nothing

Starts out strong, but over stays its welcome. I found myself losing interest towards the end.

Spanish thriller _El Bar_ is filmed like a succession of assorted scenes in a pub. Some of the shots have more kick than others, and while the variety keeps the film fluid, things get a little blurry as you reach the end.
