I don't get the other ratings.. I think this movie is gorgeous.

This is an absolute gorgeous movie with stunning visuals that are especially great in 3D.

6 stars for a mediocre animation movie that has a lot of potential but falls short on my expectations. I think it would have helped the movie a lot if it were made on a larger scale (why where there only a hand full of "pure ones" and "guardians" battle each other when obviously the guardians were a force that big to build a myth around it?) and also with an adolescence audience in mind. From a technical point of view, however, it was quite an impressive movie!

A good animation movie, music and 3D animation are really good. The characters make also a good equilibirum.

A beautiful animated movie that's has a mediocre story but gorgeous execution. Not sure I understand how anyone could rate it under 6/10. The animation alone was 10 years ahead of it's time.
